Kate McGarr is responsible for reviewing commercial and residential title abstracts, negotiating title insurance coverage, drafting loan and title documents and serving as escrow agent for commercial and residential affordable housing transactions. She assists in Land Court matters such as S Petitions, quiet title actions and deregistration of property from the Land Registration System. She also handles disputes involving real property and clouds on title issues. In residential real estate transactions, she represents lenders, buyers and sellers from the drafting of the purchase and sale agreement through the conclusion of post closing matters.
