Arch Acton has been an Attorney with Marsh Moriarty Ontell & Golder since 1998. He is the Senior Title Associate at the firm. He has expertise in matters related to title examining and title insurance. He has examined and reviewed titles involving complex title issues such as railroad rights of way, waterways and tidelands, and private and public rights of way. He has served as expert witness in actions in both Civil Courts and the Land Court. As a Land Court Examiner, he has provided reports to the Land Court in registration and post-registration matters. He has also acted as counsel to clients in Miscellaneous cases and Withdrawals. In probate cases he has advised clients in matters related to probating real estate and resolving clouds on title. His clients have included residential land owners as well as large land owners, universities and hospitals and state agencies including Massport, the MBTA, the Massachusetts Convention Center Authority and the Attorney General’s Office. Arch attended Boston University and obtained a BA in Economics in 1972 and New England School of Law where he obtained his J.D. in 1977 He is Admitted in Massachusetts and in New Hampshire
